On the very last day of 2017, our close-up magician, Anderson, got the incredible opportunity to share his love, passion in the Art of Magic to audience down at Smoke and Mirrors Bar – located right at the very of top of Singapore’s very own National Gallery.
The weather was gloomy, hazy and wet; amidst wet tuxedoes and pompadours, an evening of wonder and magic awaits! Warm lights and jazz flooded the bar as Anderson waltzed in between tables with his arsenal of miracles. Despite being strangers, the magic instantly brought huge bouts of joy and laughter to the tables. Within an instant, strangers from separate corners of the world became friends over wine and champagne. Transcending sleight of hand and trickery, the real magic conjures itself, reifies itself in between individuals with a single smile.
What better way to end of a fantastic year with close-up magic.
Here we see how effective close-up magic is as an ice-breaker and entertainment for all age groups and races.
There was also a request by a member of the audience to demonstrate something amazing with the bar’s own cutlery. Without a moment’s hesitation, Anderson led the group down the rabbit hole and into a dimension of wizardry by altering the molecules of a metal spoon, thus causing it to bend at the will of the spectator. The ad lib request of doing magic with ordinary objects is what makes it fun, entertaining and memorable. The reactions from the audience was incredible and well-worth a shot. It is our mission to provide impactful and visual magic for everyone according to their needs and desire.
2017 has been a magical year for all of us here at Meta Illusions. We hope that you have had a great year as well! May the forth coming be as magical as the past.
