This month, I was given a wonderful opportunity to perform for the wonderful crowd of NUS; the Office of Alumni Relations, NUS has invited me to perform close-up magic for their annual event - Kent Ridge Alumni Family Day.
The event, very much like a carnival, had all sorts of spectacle, ranging from live singing bands to delightful gourmet food booths to excite the tastebuds - what better way to complement the joyous occasion with great magic done inches away from the audience.
I had the luxury of interacting with many ex-students and alumnus, all of which tremendously enjoyed the miracles happening right at their fingertips.
This particular group of current students were so amazed at the illusions that they started yelling and laughing the moment the magic happened. It brings me joy to see how strangers can connect instantly and create wonderful and unforgettable memories within seconds.
I also had the great honour of performing for the higher management of NUS - president NUS, Dr. Tan Chorh Chuan as well as the director of NUS Office of Alumni Relations, Mr. Bernard Toh. They enjoyed my performance tremendously and they even said that they will definitely consider me for future events. One of the audience member even said that I was one of the smoothest magicians he has ever seen! I am glad that magic entertainment appeals to everyone, providing them with much fun and laughter.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time performing for NUS and I hope that they enjoyed it as much!
